Info:
CitarThis easily self-install Dashboard Mount is custom made and clips in between the panel sections of the dashboard, providing a very sturdy and tight fit. Average installation time is 30 sec. to 2 minutes. (See confirming article in The New York Times) No dismantling of your dashboard is required and there is no damage to your vehicle's interior! The ProClip Mount is made of ABS plastic and is heat and cold resistant.
Onto the ProClip Mount you can attach any type of holder for your device i.e. a Mobile Phone, PDA, Handheld, GPS unit, Digital Music Player, Satellite radio, Navigation Monitor, Multimedia Monitor, Handsfree car kit, Two-way radio etc. (See General Overview Picture to the left.)
For best possible use of your device in your vehicle, you'll also want to select a Holder for your device. Select from Device Holders to the left.
Be aware when using the Console Mount
If this is a console mount that has a flat/horizontal face plate (see picture above to verify, some are angled) and you are planning to use the console mount with a mobile phone holder without a tilt swivel, please be aware that when the phone is laying in a horizontal position it may slide out of the holder when you hit the brakes hard. If you like this placement, we recommend you order a holder with tilt swivel if available for your phone, or order the tilt swivel piece to use between the console mount and the holder so you can tilt the phone upwards. You will find the tilt swivel mount by selecting the category Tilt & Swivel Mounts on the left side of the page.
ProClip face plate hole patterns
Enlarge ImageThe face plate has several hole patterns – one with four holes in a center line and one that have four holes in a square-like pattern to accommodate the AMPS standard.
If you have a device/holder/cradle with a different hole pattern you can always drill new holes to match your device or simply use self tapping screws and screw directly into the faceplate.
Keep all your devices on the dash
If you have more than one device you would like to have on your dashboard, we may have the solution. Usually we have 2 or more mounts for each vehicle model so you can have all your devices securely attached on your dashboard. Many of todays customers order two or more mounts - usually one for their mobile phone and one for their Handheld and/or Music Player like the General Picture below illustrates.
